DashingCapital ("DashingCapital", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at dashingcapital.com and the DashingCapital platform (the "Service"). We are a software company — we are not a lender, broker, or financial institution and do not originate, fund, or facilitate loans.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using our Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register as a lender, broker, or borrower we collect your name, email address, company name, and a hashed password. Lenders and brokers also provide billing information processed directly by our payment processor.
Deal and Intake Data
Our AI intake system collects information about loan requests, including property address, purchase price, after-repair value (ARV), rehab budget, requested loan amount, borrower experience, exit strategy, timeline, and entity information. This data is submitted voluntarily by borrowers or brokers through the web chat or email intake channels.
Communications
If you contact us via email or our contact form, we retain the contents of your message and your contact details to respond and keep a record.
Usage and Technical Data
We automatically collect standard server log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps. This data helps us maintain platform security and understand how the Service is used.
2. How We Use Your Information
- → Provide the Service. Process deal submissions, run our AI structuring and scoring pipeline, route deal packages to matched lenders, and send AI follow-up messages for missing information.
- → Account management. Create and maintain your account, process subscription billing, and send transactional emails such as confirmations and invoices.
- → Platform improvement. Analyze usage patterns and deal data in aggregate to improve our AI models, scoring logic, and product features. We do not sell this data.
- → Security and compliance. Detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with applicable laws.
- → Product communications. Send feature announcements and updates. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- → Matched lenders. Deal packages — which include borrower-submitted property and loan information — are delivered to lenders matched by our routing engine. This routing is the core function of the Service and is agreed to when a borrower submits a deal.
- → Service providers. We use third-party vendors including Amazon Web Services (cloud infrastructure), email delivery providers, and payment processors. These vendors process data solely on our behalf.
- → Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
- → Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. SMS / Text Messaging
What we collect
When you submit your phone number via our request-a-callback form, the contact form, or our chat-based intake, we store the number you provided, the verbatim consent text you agreed to, the time of consent, your IP address, and your browser user agent. We use the number to call you back about your loan inquiry and to send transactional SMS related to that inquiry (verification codes, application-status updates, document requests).
No sale, no marketing sharing
Phone numbers and the contents of SMS messages are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party for marketing purposes. SMS data is used solely to deliver the transactional notifications you opted into.
Carrier processors
We process SMS through Twilio. Twilio acts as a service provider on our behalf and is contractually restricted from using message contents for its own purposes.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any DashingCapital SMS to immediately stop all future SMS to that number. Reply HELP for support. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of obtaining a loan inquiry, callback, or any other DashingCapital service.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information and deal data for as long as your account is active and for up to two years after account closure, unless a longer retention period is required by law or agreed to in writing. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at hello@dashingcapital.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and access controls restricted to authorized personnel. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to restrict or object to certain processing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

8. Cookies
We use essential cookies required to operate the Service (session management, security tokens). We may also use analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly without them.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by professionals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
